East Meets West Bistro (halal, vegetarian, vegan, raw food options)

This restaurant embraces fresh, local and sustainable ingredients. Set in a beautiful two- story glass atrium allowing natural lighting, it offers all the qualities of an upscale experience with the convenience of an on campus location. It features simple, flavourful, multicultural cuisine prepared in 3 open kitchens while you relax in the airy dining room.

Hospitality Services provides a wide range of healthy food on campus. The Chef Manager will gladly meet with any student to discuss their religious dietary requirements.

The Phoenix (halal and vegetarian options)

The PhoenixThe Phoenix is the graduate student pub and it boasts a large menu of traditional pub fare, tasty sandwiches, salads and more.  The Phoenix moved to its new fully-accessible location in the Refectory Building in the summer of 2012 and the space is lovely.  The Phoenix is fully licensed to serve alcohol.

TwelvEighty (halal options)

1280TwelvEighty is a service run by the McMaster Student Union. It offers affordable food options and a diverse range of services including; a high quality restaurant during days and evenings, catering options for events (internal campus and external groups), club night parties, special events and concerts.  TwelvEight is fully licensed to serve alcohol.

Willy Dog Carts on Campus (halal and vegetarian options)

Willy DogIf you love hotdogs, then look for the bright yellow and red Willy Dog Carts located at the heart of McMaster’s campus.

Two Locations: MUSC (Student Centre) just outside of Gilmour Hall; and halfway between MUSC and the Faculty of Health Sciences.
