Dis/Abilities and Faith

Places of worship are becoming increasingly responsive to the diversity of their membership. As a result, efforts are being made to ensure that places of worship are more accessible, accommodating and inclusive.  For specific information about accessibility measures on or off campus, contact the organization directly.

The following resources provide a few examples of how persons with disabilities are being considered and included in faith-based communities:

Canadian Association of Muslims with Disabilities
Canadian Hearing Society
Disability, Religion and Spirtuality Resources
Global Deaf Muslim
Religion and Ethics

Do you know of a place of worship that is going above and beyond?  Know of any great resources for persons with disabilities and faith?  Tell us about it!
